    Which links work?

    Public Instagram reels and posts, Facebook videos and reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube videos and Shorts, including short vm.tiktok.com, fb.watch and youtu.be links. Private accounts and posts that need a login won't work.

    Why did my link fail?

    The post may be private, deleted or age-restricted. Instagram also blocks some requests at busy times, so wait a minute and try again.

    Why do some YouTube qualities have no sound?

    YouTube stores the picture and the sound of most videos as two separate files, and joining them takes more processing than Dropvid's servers can do. Qualities marked "No sound" are silent video. Download the Audio option as well if you need the sound. Large YouTube files can also be slow to arrive.

    Is it free?

    Yes. There's no account, no subscription and no daily limit.

    Do you keep the videos I download?

    No. The video streams from the platform to your device and isn't stored on our servers.

    Will the TikTok have a watermark?

    It depends on what TikTok provides for that video. When a version without the watermark is available, it's marked in the quality list.

    Can I download someone else's video?

    Only save videos you made or have permission to use. Reposting someone else's work without permission can break copyright law and the platform's rules.
